Minutes of August 14, 2017
The meeting opened at 10:05 am. Cynthia Weber, Julio Rodriguez, Norma Champigny, Ruth Champigny, Kay Purcell were present.
Discussions
If older adults want to meet people and chat, the Coffee Club welcomes all.
Need to get more information to seniors with meetings at the community center.
Tax abatement work-off allowance for seniors has been raised to $1,500.
Events
Matter of Balance instructors visited to offer another 8 sessions in Monterey. It was agreed to offer these on Fridays, 1 -3 pm during October and November. Site will be town hall or the community center.
Our trip to Chesterwood will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017. It includes a tour, lunch and access to the gardens. The tour by Cynthia Weber starts at 11 am. It was suggested to meet at town hall at 10 am. There will not be a van.
The meeting adjourned at 11:45 am.
